The best possible places to have your booth at a trade show are:

• Near an entrance or exit
• Close to washrooms
• Next to a HUGE tradeshow booth
• Close to an eating area
  

All the above are top traffic sources at a tradeshow!

What if you do not wind up with one of the above locations?

One idea involves placing signs directing people to your booth around the above locations! Or better yet, have somebody hand out coupons at the above locations that can be redeemed at your booth!
